FAQ

Do eSIMs work on all phones?

No, while most new phones come from the factory supporting eSIM technology, many older models don’t. If you’re unsure if an eSIM will work on your device, check out our eSIM compatibility list above.

How can I check if my phone supports eSIMs?

You can easily check if your phone supports eSIMs in several ways. First,  look up your device in the eSIM compatibility list above. If you can’t find your device or just want to double check, you can browse the manufacturer’s manual or check if your phone is eSIM-compatible here

Are eSIMs better than physical SIM cards?

Both eSIMs and physical SIM cards have pros and cons, but it’s clear that eSIMs are here to stay. If you plan on setting up your phone just once, the difference between an eSIMs and a physical SIM card will be minimal. But if you often need to use different numbers or you want to save on roaming fees when you travel, an eSIM is a much better choice.
